In 2004, Madeleine Peyroux released the Seminal album Careless Love – a rich collection of songs by artists from Bob Dylan to James P Johnson, and included Peyroux’s milestone rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Dance Me to the End of Love.” For the sole original on the album, producer Klein and Jesse Harris co-wrote Peyroux’s signature song and fans favorite, “Don’t Wait Too Long.”
With a musical catalog defined by honest and deeply personal lyrics carried by her powerful, radiant voice, Paula Cole has always had a gift for discerning the underlying humanity in stories from her own life as well as those around her – channeling those emotional elements into captivating music. Her album, This Fire, brought her to worldwide acclaim with hits “Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?” and “I Don’t Want to Wait.” The latter of which was used as the theme song to TV’s Dawson’s Creek.
