Beggar Kings - performing Classic Stones

Beggar Kings - performing Gregg Allman tribute segment

The Beggar Kings return for their 3rd annual "Rockin' Romp at the Rio"! The Beggar Kings perform music from the "Golden Age" of Stones music, from the late 60s to early 70s. This time, the band will also include a mid concert segment- honoring Gregg Allman ( R.I.P.). Special guest guitarist Dave Gonzales will sit in on this set, who played with Gregg in some early Bay Area shows, as did keyboardist Dale, and bassist Endre. Some of Gregg's solo tunes, and some of his Allman Bros hits will be lovingly recreated in this special segment. Also, the group will add two original songs! The Beggar Kings are; Kevin Krilanovich, vocals; Tom Ayres, guitars; Caleb Larsen, guitars; Dale Ockerman, keyboards, harp and guitars; David Tucker, drums; Endre Tarczy, bass and vocals; Vince Sanchez, percussion; The Pleasure Point horns; and The Nasty Habits choir. Members have played with the Doobie Bros, Tommy Castro, Quicksilver, Steve Marriott, Gregg Allman, Persephone’s Bees, James Durbin and more.
