Sugar by the Pound came together in the Spring of 2014 in The Santa Cruz Mountains of California and is one of the only all-female bluegrass bands, not only in the area, but for miles around.  Their combination of traditional bluegrass music, country-style blues,  honky tonk, and classical influences hits home with a wide audience and has made the group a perfect fit for Valentine Day
