TEDxSantaCruz: Radical Collaboration - SOLD OUT

TEDxSantaCruz is a full-day event that features riveting talks and performances from a diverse range of inspired and renowned speakers and artists. The 2015 theme is Radical Collaboration, and for the first time in four years, the annual conference will take place at the Rio!

You’ve probably heard about TED talks — those Technology, Entertainment, and Design “ideas worth spreading” that you can see online or hear on NPR. Now there are also thousands of TEDx events, organized independently around the globe — including our own Santa Cruz, California.

The first confirmed speaker is David Haussler, known for his work leading the UC Santa Cruz team that assembled the first human genome sequence in the race to complete the Human Genome Project. His work has spawned a cancer research project and a project to map the genome of 10,000 animal species.

Do you believe in the power of ideas to change the world? Join us for this event, and prepare to be empowered by speakers who have radically collaborated across disciplines, boundaries, geographical distances, languages, ideologies, cultures, and technologies.

Last year was a sellout, and all tickets will be sold in advance.
